Community Kitchen
At Community-Ed, we believe in sustainability, accessibility, community and improving life skills.
Community-Ed’s Community Kitchen is based in the heart of Great Yarmouth and is well equipped to cook all kinds of culinary delights. Baking, frying, roasting, grilling and other more complex techniques can be achieved.
Inspiring, motivating, and empowering people through cooking is a significant part of our ethos at Community-Ed. We believe that when we learn how to cook, we develop independence, self-esteem, and the ability to look after ourselves and others.
Sustainability – With positive food choices, we transform ourselves, others, and the environment.
Accessibility – Good quality food should be available to all. By eating well, we can develop and look after our bodies and our minds.
Community – Community-Ed is based in the heart of Great Yarmouth, where we are best placed to serve the local community. Helping the vulnerable and less fortunate people in society is vital in our ethos.
Life skills - We believe that when we learn how to cook, we develop independence, self-esteem, and the ability to look after ourselves and others. It will also allow us to engage in meaningful employment.
